I fell in love with photography at an early age. I was an avid reader of National Geographic, where the photographs alone told the story. I quickly realized the power of a photograph. Later, I watched Sears catalog shopping turn into J Crew/Tweeds catalog shopping: still life images of clothes evolved into displaying clothes through images of a poolside gathering or dinner party! How brilliant to tie an emotion to an article of clothing through a well choreographed photograph! This was my introduction to the world of photography. I was an Art History major at Georgia. My roommate was a photography major. I was her go to model. I watched her struggle with lighting and angles until she finally got "that" image. I now understand her attention to details and how important each element is in creating a beautiful piece of art. Since my college days, I have been playing with a camera. Film to digital. I love it all! (I use digital with my clients today.) I work with natural light in any of the many beautiful Savannah settings. My goal is to capture the personality and beauty of my clients in a relaxed and casual environment.
